The Belleville Philharmonic Society is an Orchestra founded in 1866 in Belleville, Illinois. Its current conductor is Robert Charles Howard, and the assistant conductor is Leon Burke III.
The goal of the Belleville Philharmonic is to "Provide performing and listening opportunities for music lovers of all ages." The orchestra performs in restaurants, at schools, Churches, Retirement homes for the elderly, and many other sites mainly throughout the Belleville area.
Stars of Tomorrow is a Concerto competition that is hosted by the Belleville Philharmonic Society once a year. There are three categories for participants: K-8, High School, and College.
